Hi there! My name is Tayla
I am a Support worker, Coordinator, and the Director at Tayla’d Care services.
In 2016 I started my journey, helping individual participants to achieve their goals either at home or out in the community. Throughout my years working closely with individuals, my compassion drove me to really understand what participants want to achieve and how to help them achieve it. I genuinely enjoy getting to know and understand our participants and making each individual participant’s experience tailor made to their goals, wants and needs.
In my free time I enjoy socialising, camping, and exploring exciting new place to eat and playing for my regular footy team the flint tropics.

Hello! My name is Lee!
In recent months I have joined the Team at Tayla’d Care Services. My two roles are Service manager and Support Coordinator at Tayla’d Care Services. I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who strives to achieve a high standard in whatever I undertake.
I am an active person who enjoys new challenges. I enjoy working in a team, although I am very capable of working independently and on my own initiative. I am an organised and resourceful person with a good sense of humour. Being honest and trustworthy is my main policy and I believe there is no substitute for hard work.
I am always looking for ways to improve both personally and professionally, as there is always room for improvement and further enhancement of skills. I am looking for a challenging position where I can demonstrate my desire to succeed.

Hi I’m Kathie,
I am the Administrator at Tayla’d Care Services. I joined the team at the start of 2023, I bring a wealth of experience with a background in forensic pathology. My commitment to excellence, communication and organisational skills play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our services.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a proud parent with both of my children actively engaged in the disability sector. This personal connection adds a special dimension to my understanding and passion for the work we do at Tayla’d Care.
Outside of the office I like to unleash my creativity upcycling and renovating.

Hi everyone, my name is Shaun
I’ve been a part of the team at Tayla’d Care services since 2022 and am enjoying the opportunity I’ve been given to provide support and guidance, to assist participants with taking the steps they need to be able to achieve their goals and aspirations. My experience is working with teens and young adults, helping them engage in the community and providing a fun environment in which they can express themselves.
I’m a qualified chippy by trade and spent 4 years completing my carpentry apprenticeship. Outside of work I enjoy, Fishing, video games, golf and playing TRL for the local Flint Tropics, and love to attend and support my NRL team the Gold Coast Titans!

Hey there! My name is Paige I’m a bubbly, positive, and intuitive young lady, and a big believer in bringing fun and joy to everyday life.
My journey as a support worker started 4 years ago, supporting children and adolescents living with disabilities. Being a support worker, creates a sense of happiness and purpose in my life, to bring joy into the lives of others.
I carry most of my experience in ASD, ADHD, intellectual impairments, complex mental health, behavioural management, stoma care, PODD book communication, and basic sign language.
Outside of work, I take pride in my personal fitness and health. I am a focused and driven person, competing in body sculpting competitions and exploring the great outdoors, and visiting the beach. This also helps me focus on my dancing career for the Brisbane Bullets. Some other of my interests are attending motor vehicle events, enjoying the company of all kinds of animals, and searching for the most exquisite cup of coffee around.

Hi, my name is Kathy
I am one of the support workers here at Tayla’d care services and provide supports to our wonderful participants in the Ipswich area. I am a friendly, passionate a patient woman with 25 years’ experience caring for my son who has a disability, as well as 3.11 months experience employed as a disability support worker. I am skilled in various aspect of care provision including working with many different health care professionals, to implement a program of support to working independently with clients to achieve social and self-care goals.
Being a support worker is incredibly rewarding. It means making a difference to the lives of the people I provide care for by helping them live their best life to the fullest. The best part about my job is watching participants achieve their goals and being a part of the process that made it happen.

Hi, I’m Carissa
I am a caring and compassionate person with a strong passion for helping others, I’m committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals I support.
I have worked in the aged care sector for the past 4 years, with a natural instinct to care for others. I enjoy working with people and knowing I have had a positive impact on their lives. Bringing happiness into the day of my participants is extremely rewarding.
I love spending time with family, finding little adventures we can share, creating memories. I enjoy the beach, waterfalls, and keeping active, which is something I love to incorporate into my participants lives.

Hi I’m Kerrie,
I am a mother of 2. I have recently moved within the Ipswich region and loving the community feel. I have worked as a support person over the last 20 years, both personally and in the community.
I am passionate in assisting in assisting people from all walks of life in achieving their independence and goals. I have assisted Children through to adulthood and seniors, with a wide variety of neurodiverse and physical and physical needs. I have lived in experience in supporting young people on the spectrum. I also have experience in spinal and aged care.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and our fur babies. I love being outdoors and enjoy the beach when I get the chance, I enjoy a variety of different hobbies, candle making, furniture upcycling, reading, arts and music. people and working out their interest and arranging my shifts to try to accommodate their interest.

Hi, my name is Matthew.
I’ve been supporting those in the community for 5 years and am very confident in every aspect and level of care. I’m passion-driven and enjoy seeing people of all abilities reach their goals and achievements and live an independent life. In my previous roles, I’ve helped participants to learn new skills, make friends and grow through my support. I find it extremely rewarding to be able to work alongside people from all walks of life.
I have completed a bachelor and diploma in Counselling. I have an interest in social science and human behaviour. I’m a family person through and through. When I am not working you can find me playing board games, video games and building and painting miniatures.

My passion for helping others shines through in every interaction. With a calm and patient demeanour, I strive in creating a safe and nurturing environment for those I support. Whether it’s assisting with daily activities, offering emotional support, or simply lending a listening ear.
In my own time, I enjoy spending time with my family, I have 5 wonderful children. and embracing my cultural heritage anything that involves open water or a campfire.

I am a dedicated support worker at Tayla’d Care Services! With a rich background in early childhood education spanning three years, Jett seamlessly transitioned into our team six months ago.
My passion for nurturing and guiding others is evident in the compassionate care she provides. Jett brings a wealth of experience and a nurturing spirit to her role, making a positive impact on the individuals under our care. We are fortunate to have her on board, enhancing the quality of support and fostering a warm, supportive environment.

I’d best describe myself as someone who is really easy going, down to earth and an approachable person. I’ve always had a passion for helping others. I started my journey in recent months as a support worker with Tayla’d care services, I take pride in helping participants reach their goals, passions and improving their quality of life. What I love mostly I just like helping others and ending each day feeling like I have helped make someone’s life just a little bit easier or happier.
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors camping, fishing, 4WD, motorbikes and I love spending time with my 3 amazing kids.

Hi, I’m Tina
I would describe me as someone who is kind, always has a smile on her face, and I’ve been told one of my greatest strengths is I’m always thinking of others.
I started my journey as a support worker in 2022 and enjoy every aspect of what I do, I love seeing people of all ages achieve their goals. I’ve had the privilege of supporting participants of all ages and of higher needs, this has allowed me to develop a wide set of skills and experiences as a care giver.
I’m a mum to 7 wonderful children, and I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking.

Hi I’m Kayla,
I’m a mum to two beautiful children. I am easy going, kind and extremely caring. I have worked as a kindergarten teacher for the past 15 years, helping children to prepare for school by enhancing their skills in all areas of development. During those years I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds, catering to their different needs.
I have used each child’s interests to create play based curriculums to support their learning goals. After having some time off work after having my second child, I have been enjoying my new journey as a support worker. I have been enjoying working in groups and 1:1 setting supporting people to meet their needs and goals.
I love camping and going to the beach, gardening and spending time with my family, and I also like learning about all things health and wellness.

Hi there! I’m Laura and I’d like to introduce myself as confident, approachable, creative, and super excited to be a part of the fantastic team at Tayla’d Care Services.
My previous experience was gained while working as a teacher aide at a special school with students from age prep right through to year 12, for the past 15 years and have transitioned delightfully into the community care sector.
I hold a Cert in Education Support and previously completed theoretical and practical modules in specialised health procedures, as it was essential to my role in managing debilities, asthma, epilepsy and gastronomy feeding coupled with best practice manual handling procedures when supporting students with multiple impairments. I have experience in Auslan and PODD book communication and have assisted in training others in these skills.
I continue to be a lover of nature and huge supporter of developing and encouraging a healthy sense of curiosity and vitality for life and love actively getting involved with the greater community via the various volunteering activities I have undertaken.
